Daymsa’s nutritional programme for redcurrants aims to obtain balanced bushes, and thus increase redcurrant production and quality.

The bush begins its activity using the reserves it has built up in the course of the previous year. Incorporating biostimulants and soil improvers stimulates root development and nutrient absorption, and consequently the growth and development of the redcurrant bush.

Supplying calcium before flowering improves the firmness of the fruit. During flowering, a specific biostimulant with cytokinetic action stimulates cell division improving the size of the redcurrants. Finally, applying a potassium-based fertilizer improves the size, colour and sugar content of the redcurrant.
