Daymsa’s nutritional programme aims to ensure a balanced crop, which means increased lentil production and quality.

Incorporating biostimulants and soil improvers right from the outset improves root development and nutrient absorption, stimulating plant growth. Supplying cobalt and molybdenum encourages nodulation, which results in better nitrogen fixing, leading to better plant growth.

Before flowering, supplying a boron supplement improves fruit setting, reducing the number of vegetative centres. During flowering we recommend applying a product which produces phytoalexins with systemic action. These stimulate the plant’s natural defences.

Finally, applying a potassium-based fertilizer to the leaves improves the quality of the lentils.
