Daymsa’s nutritional programme aims to obtain balanced plants, which leads to increased shallot production and quality.

Incorporating biostimulants and soil improvers right from the outset leads to more even germination, and also improves the way the root system grows and nutrients are absorbed. Aminoacids stimulates the growth and formation of the bulb, mainly with regard to stress situations (water, extreme temperatures, plant diseases, etc.)

Finally, applying potassium fertilizer to the leaves improves the size and quality of the bulb. For leaf applications to be more effective they must be applied together with a fertilizer-retaining agent.
