Daymsa’s nutritional programme for custard apple aims to achieve balanced nutrition for the trees, thus increasing production and the quality of the harvest.

The custard apple tree begins its activity using the reserves it has built up in the course of the previous year. The start of root development coincides with the beginnings of tree growth, which makes it essential to incorporate biostimulants and soil improvers during this period. These products stimulate root development and nutrient absorption.

Providing calcium before flowering improves the firmness of the custard apples. Applying biostimulants with cytokinetic action from the flowering stage onwards stimulates cell division, improving the size of the fruits.

Finally, when the fruits start to swell, applying potassium fertilizer to the leaves ensures high yields and excellent quality fruit.
