Daymsa’s nutritional programme for pistachios aims to obtain balanced trees, which leads to increased pistachio production and quality.
The tree begins its activity using the reserves it has built up in the course of the previous year. Incorporating biostimulants and soil improvers minimizes the stress caused by transplanting, encouraging root development and nutrient absorption. Supplying calcium prior to flowering improves the firmness of the fruits.
During flowering we recommend applying a product which produces phytoalexins with systemic action. These phytoalexins activate the trees’ natural defences. Supplying a biostimulant with cytokinetic action stimulates cell division, improving the size of the pistachios.
